§1661. Oaths; witnesses In the discharge of the duties imposed by this Chapter, the administrator, any appeal referee, the members of the board of review and any duly authorized representative of any of them, shall have power to administer oaths and affirmations, take depositions, certify to official acts, and issue subpoenas to compel the attendance of witnesses and the production of books, papers, correspondence, memoranda, and other records deemed necessary as evidence in connection with a disputed claim, or an audit ordered by the administrator. Subpoenas issued pursuant to this Section may be served by any person duly authorized by the administrator. Acts 1986, No. 652, §1; Acts 1986, No. 187, §1; Acts 2001, No. 1165, §2.
