PART II. FIREMEN'S PENSION AND RELIEF FUND FOR THE CONSOLIDATED FIRE DISTRICTS OF BASTROP §3131. Firemen's Pension and Relief Fund for the consolidated fire districts of Bastrop; creation There is hereby created a Firemen's Pension and Relief Fund for the consolidated fire districts of Bastrop, Louisiana, and a public corporation to be known as the Board of Trustees of the Firemen's Pension and Relief Fund of the City of Bastrop, Louisiana, which corporation shall be vested with the power to administer the Fund herein provided for, to sue and be sued, to buy and sell securities for investment of the surplus monies of said Fund, to allot disability payments and pensions as hereinafter set forth, to employ necessary clerical and professional services and fix the compensation of same.
