§197. Studies regarding improvement and expansion of nutrition program; state Department of Education's duty to conduct A. To the extent that funds are available for that purpose and in cooperation with other appropriate agencies and organizations, the state Department of Education may conduct studies regarding methods of improving and expanding nutrition programs and promoting nutritional education in the schools. B. The state Department of Education may also conduct appraisals of the nutritive benefits of nutrition programs, and report its findings and recommendations from time to time to the governor.
