§279. Account and audits A. Subject to the provisions of any contract with the holders of its bonds, the Authority shall establish a system of accounts. B. The Authority shall be subject to audit by the legislative auditor. The Authority may cause an independent audit to be prepared annually. Any such independent audit shall be subject to the authority of the legislative auditor to prescribe and approve the terms and conditions of such audit as provided in R.S. 24:513. C. Within six months after the end of each fiscal year, the Authority shall submit to the governor and to both houses of the legislature an annual report on the operations of the Authority. Within sixty days after receipt thereof, the Authority shall submit to the governor and to both houses of the legislature a copy of the report of every audit of the books and accounts of the Authority.
