§798. Licenses; exception Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary, the licenses or permits required by Title 26 to be issued by the commissioner to engage in the business of dealing in alcoholic beverages shall be the only licenses required of a person or entity to conduct any business of dealing in alcoholic beverages except occupational licenses, health permits, fire safety and other safety permits, and permits for dealing in alcoholic beverages required by a parish or municipal governing authority, any fire safety permits required by the state fire marshal, any permit that may be required by the Riverboat Gaming Enforcement Division, office of state police, and any licenses required by federal law or federal regulations.
