§5383. Transfers of more than one parcel of immovable property In a transfer of more than one parcel of immovable property, no assumption in globo is created by the assumption by a purchaser of more than one vendor's privilege and/or mortgage, unless the contrary is expressed in said transfer. In such cases, whenever separate parcels of immovable property are transferred to a purchaser who expressly assumes the payment of the vendors' privileges and/or mortgages bearing against the immovable property purchased, each vendor's privilege and/or mortgage shall be deemed to have each been assumed separately and distinctly as if only one parcel of immovable property had been transferred, and each such vendor's privilege and/or mortgage shall continue to affect and bear against only the specific immovable property described in the instrument by which the vendor's privilege and/or mortgage was originally created. Likewise, unless the contrary is expressed in said transfer, any resolutory condition or right to rescind arising in favor of the vendor as a result of the failure to pay any of the vendors' privileges and/or mortgages shall be deemed to apply only to the immovable property affected by its respective vendor's privilege and/or mortgage.
