This section requires each named assistant district attorney to live in a specified parish and sets a minimum annual salary, paid monthly by the parish, in addition to the state salary.
§122. Residence and additional salary of assistant district attorneys A. The first assistant district attorney of the Fourth Judicial District shall reside in the parish of Ouachita and shall receive as compensation for his services, in addition to the annual salary paid by the state, an annual salary of not less than six thousand dollars payable monthly by the parish of Ouachita on the warrant of the first assistant district attorney. B. The second assistant district attorney shall reside in the parish of Morehouse and shall receive as compensation for his services, in addition to the annual salary paid by the state, an annual salary of not less than four thousand, seven hundred fifty dollars, payable monthly by the parish of Morehouse on the warrant of the second assistant district attorney. C. The third assistant district attorney shall reside in the parish of Ouachita and shall receive as compensation for his services, in addition to the annual salary paid by the state, an annual salary of not less than five thousand, seven hundred fifty dollars, payable monthly by the parish of Ouachita on the warrant of the third assistant district attorney. D. The fourth assistant district attorney shall reside in the parish of Ouachita and shall receive as compensation for his services, in addition to the annual salary paid by the state, an annual salary of not less than five thousand, seven hundred fifty dollars, payable monthly by the parish of Ouachita on the warrant of the fourth assistant district attorney. E. The fifth assistant district attorney shall reside in the parish of Ouachita and shall receive as compensation for his services, in addition to the annual salary paid by the state, an annual salary of not less than five thousand, seven hundred fifty dollars, payable monthly by the parish of Ouachita on the warrant of the fifth assistant district attorney. F. The sixth assistant district attorney shall reside in the parish of Morehouse and shall receive as compensation for his services, in addition to the annual salary paid by the state, an annual salary of not less than four thousand seven hundred fifty dollars, payable monthly by the parish of Morehouse on the warrant of the sixth assistant district attorney.
