SUBPART G. TRANSPORT LICENSE §307. Transporter; license required A. Operators and drivers of any form of commercial transport, except common carriers, who are in the act of loading, unloading, or transporting fish shall have in their possession at least one of the following licenses: (1) A commercial fisherman's license. (2) A wholesale/retail dealer's license. (3) A transport license. B. Persons who produce and harvest crawfish in private ponds or who produce and harvest catfish in private ponds shall not be required to obtain, maintain, or exhibit any license, permit, or certificate in order to transport crawfish from the place where they were produced or harvested in private ponds or catfish from the private pond to the first point of sale. C. Transport license requirements shall not apply to fish or fish products which are the result of processing as defined in R.S. 56:8.
