SUBPART C. LOUISIANA STATE UNIVERSITY IN SHREVEPORT §1511. College established; four-year college curriculum A. There is hereby established, in accordance with the approval thereof granted by the Louisiana Coordinating Council for Higher Education in January, 1972, as a branch or extension of Louisiana State University and Agricultural and Mechanical College, a four-year college which shall be located in the Shreveport-Bossier City area, and shall be designated as Louisiana State University in Shreveport. B. The Board of Supervisors of Louisiana State University and Agricultural and Mechanical College is authorized and directed to evolve and effectuate such plans as are necessary to convert the existing two-year institution located in the Shreveport-Bossier City area and designated as Louisiana State University in Shreveport as a four-year institution of higher learning.
