§1174. Notification of grant or rejection of application Every applicant shall be notified by the superintendent in writing within sixty days after the final day for the filing of the application whether the application has been granted or rejected; when the application is for medical leave from sickness the superintendent shall notify the applicant within thirty days from the date of the filing of the application whether the application has been granted or rejected. If the application has been rejected, the reasons for such rejection shall be specified. Acts 1999, No. 1342, §1.
