PART II. ORLEANS PARISH §3101. Drawing petit and tales jurors for civil district court; emptying and refilling general venire box The jury commission for the Parish of Orleans appointed in accordance with Article 404 of the Louisiana Code of Criminal Procedure shall draw petit and tales jurors for service in the civil district court for the Parish of Orleans, in such numbers and at such times as ordered by the presiding judge thereof, or, in the absence, recusation, inability to act, or vacancy in the office of the presiding judge, upon order of the acting presiding judge thereof. The drawing of juries for service in the civil district court shall be made by the jury commission and the civil sheriff. The general venire box shall be emptied of its contents and refilled with other names whenever the jury commission shall be so ordered by any judge of the criminal district court.
