§766. Taking of mayhaw berries; rules and regulations Any rules and regulations adopted and promulgated by the department applicable to the taking or collection of mayhaw (Crataegus aestivalis) berries in wildlife management areas and wildlife refuges shall be subject to legislative oversight in accordance with the Administrative Procedure Act. The taking of mayhaw berries as provided herein, shall not be subject to the Public Bid Law. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, rule, or regulation to the contrary, no person shall be charged a fee for collecting mayhaw berries in wildlife management areas and wildlife refuges, nor shall any person be limited as to the quantity of mayhaw berries that can be collected.
