§2354. Penalty for violation; civil liability Whoever violates any provision set forth in this Part or any rule or regulation promulgated by the Department of Agriculture and Forestry, or interferes with any authorized agent of the Department of Agriculture and Forestry while in the performance of his official duty, is guilty of a misdemeanor and shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished by a fine of not less than twenty-five dollars, nor more than five hundred dollars for each offense, or imprisoned for not less than ten days nor more than thirty days, or by both fine and imprisonment, in the discretion of the court having jurisdiction, and shall also be liable to any persons injured for all damages resulting from the violation.
