SUBPART G. METROPOLITAN BRANCH OF LOUISIANA STATE UNIVERSITY AND AGRICULTURAL AND MECHANICAL COLLEGE §1551. Establishment and location There is hereby established, as a branch or extension and as an integral part of Louisiana State University and Agricultural and Mechanical College, a metropolitan commuters college, which shall be located in the greater New Orleans metropolitan area, which shall be known as the University of New Orleans. This college shall at all times be and remain under the control, supervision, and management of the Board of Supervisors of Louisiana State University and Agricultural and Mechanical College.
