§432. Suspension or denial of driving privileges; failure to pay child support or individual income tax A. Regardless of the requirements for the issuance or renewal of a license to operate a motor vehicle on the highways of this state, or suspension or revocation thereof, all drivers' licenses issued pursuant to this Chapter are also subject to the provisions of R.S. 9:315.30 et seq., suspension of license for nonpayment of child support, and the provisions of R.S. 47:296.2, suspension and denial of renewal of drivers' licenses, and any rules and regulations adopted to administer R.S. 47:296.2. B. The Department of Public Safety and Corrections, office of motor vehicles, shall adopt rules and regulations in accordance with the provisions of the Administrative Procedure Act to effectuate the orderly and expeditious suspension and reissuance of drivers' licenses in accordance with R.S. 9:315.30 et seq. C. The secretary of the Department of Public Safety and Corrections, office of motor vehicles, in cooperation with the secretary of the Department of Revenue, shall adopt rules and regulations as are necessary, in accordance with the provisions of the Administrative Procedure Act, to effectuate the orderly and expeditious suspension and denial of renewal and reissuance of drivers' licenses, in accordance with R.S. 47:296.2.
