§3057. Technical assistance In addition, and subject to the availability of funds, pursuant to a local services agreement between the commission and the parish of East Baton Rouge and the city of Baton Rouge, the commission may employ experts and consultants for such technical assistance as may be required or deemed necessary in order to secure appropriate facts and information and to make recommendations relevant to the preventive or remedial steps which may be required to protect existing ground water levels, the prevention of depletion and effects thereof, with particular emphasis on conditions detrimental to the ground water supply from salt water encroachment.
