§1009. Studies and reports The Department of the Treasury may make studies concerning the problem of old age, survivors, disability, and health insurance protection for employees of the state and local governments and their instrumentalities and concerning the operation of agreements made and plans approved under this Chapter and may submit a report to the governor, not later than the first day of February in each year in which regular sessions of the legislature are held, covering the administration and operation of this Chapter during the two preceding calendar years and may make such recommendations for amendments to this Chapter as it deems proper.
