§3395.1. Peer Review Committee; powers and duties A. The Louisiana Real Estate Appraisers Board is granted the authority to create as needed a Peer Review Committee, and it shall be referred to hereafter as the "committee". B. The committee shall be comprised of certified real estate appraisers and shall provide assistance as necessary to the board regarding the performance of its functions and duties in pre-license and post-license review and regulation. Each member of the committee shall serve without compensation but shall be reimbursed for actual expenses and mileage incurred in carrying out his duties as a committee member in accordance with the state travel regulations promulgated by the division of administration. C. There shall be no liability on the part of and no action for damages against the board or a member of the committee on any action taken or recommendation made by a member of the committee acting within the scope of his function as a member of or consultant to the committee if such action was taken or recommendation was made without malice. D. The board shall promulgate rules and regulations subject to the Administrative Procedure Act in order to effectuate this Section. Acts 2008, No. 197, §1.
