§1692. Exemption from entrance fees; elderly A. Any citizen of the state of Louisiana who is identified as sixty-two years of age or older shall be exempt from paying the general admission charge to any state park in Louisiana. Any person accompanying a citizen of the state of Louisiana who is sixty-two years of age or older, as the driver of a single, private, noncommercial vehicle, or alternatively, the exempted person's spouse and children accompanying him or her where entry to the area is by any means other than private, noncommercial vehicle, shall be exempt from paying the general admission charge to any state park in Louisiana.
