Minnesota Statutes § 18B.35 - APPLICATION CATEGORIES WITHIN APPLICATOR LICENSES
The commissioner may set applicator license and certification categories, but they must meet federal competency standards and be published on the Department of Agriculture website. Each category gets separate testing requirements, and no one can be charged an additional fee just for a category or subclassification.
