Minnesota Statutes § 357.29 - SERVICES NOT RENDERED; ILLEGAL FEES
Certain officers and other fee-eligible persons must not charge more than the lawful fee, and they must not demand or receive payment for a service unless the service was actually rendered, except for prospective costs.
