Minnesota Statutes § 385.24 - REFUSAL TO EXECUTE PROCESS
If a sheriff or other officer refuses or fails to execute an execution against a delinquent treasurer and the treasurer’s sureties, or fails to pay over collected money, the sheriff and sureties face the same penalties and process as delinquent treasurers.
