Minnesota Statutes § 84.76 - APPRENTICE RIDERS
Some 12-or-older riders without a required safety certificate may join up to two commissioner-sponsored apprentice rider trail events, but must be accompanied by an adult with a valid safety certificate and use properly registered vehicles.
