Missouri Revised Statutes § 109.160 - Statement and affidavit when record lost or destroyed

A person interested in a lost, destroyed, mutilated, stolen, or carried-away record may file a written statement, verified by affidavit, that sets out the record’s contents as closely as possible in the clerk’s office where the record belonged.
