Missouri Revised Statutes § 355.586 - Effect of amendment
An amendment to a corporation’s articles of incorporation generally does not change existing claims, proceedings, restrictions, trust property limits, or the rights of nonmembers. A name change also does not stop a proceeding already filed under the former name.
