Missouri Revised Statutes § 359.641 - Effective dates

359.641. Effective dates. — 1. All domestic limited partnerships formed on or after January 1, 1987, and all foreign limited partnerships doing business in Missouri after January 1, 1987, shall be governed by the provisions of this act*. 2. All domestic limited partnerships formed prior to January 1, 1987, shall have until January 1, 1989, to elect to be governed by the provisions of this act*. Those domestic limited partnerships not electing to comply with this act* will be subject to the sanctions of section 359.691. 3. All domestic limited partnerships formed prior to January 1, 1987, which elect to be governed by this act* shall file with the secretary of state a certificate of partnership as required by section 359.091, or file with the secretary of state the original certificate of partnership and its amendments, if any, plus a designation of registered office and registered agent. All those domestic limited partnerships formed prior to January 1, 1987, will be charged a filing fee of fifty dollars by the secretary of state when complying with this section.
