Missouri Revised Statutes § 486.660 - Prohibited acts
A notary must not do four specified things when handling a notarial certificate: use false information, sign or seal an incomplete certificate, sign or seal it at the wrong time or outside the principal’s presence, or give it to someone for later completion outside the notary’s presence.
