Missouri Revised Statutes § 50.620 - Appropriations (first and second class counties)
In first- and second-class counties, if next year’s appropriations have not been made by fiscal year end, certain prior appropriations are treated as reappropriated and the accounting officer must keep funding government support until the county commission acts.
