Missouri Revised Statutes § 50.760 - Advertisement for bids, procedure for — purchase at public auctions — purchase order required (second class and certain first class counties)

County commissioners in specified counties must estimate yearly supplies, advertise for sealed bids, and contract with the lowest and best bidder. The commission may also authorize some purchases at public auction, and no contract arises until a purchase order is approved.
