Missouri Revised Statutes § 66.080 - Punishment assessed, when — maximum penalty
If someone is convicted of violating a county ordinance, the judge must assess the ordinance punishment and enter judgment for costs, but the punishment cannot exceed a $1,000 fine, one year in the county jail, or both.
