Missouri Revised Statutes § 84.430 - Board of police — personnel disciplinary cases — decrease of force — witnesses, summons and administration of oaths

The board of police must hear complaints or charges against police department members, and certain complaints must be sworn to by the filer. The board also has power to discharge officers in a force-reduction case and to summon witnesses and administer oaths.
