§ 53-224. 19. Interstate merger transactions and branching permitted.

North Carolina banks may enter interstate merger transactions with out-of-state banks, and the resulting out-of-state bank may operate the merged North Carolina bank’s branches in North Carolina if Article conditions and filing requirements are met.
