§ 115C-210. 3. Organization, meetings, and compensation.
The Council must elect a chairperson, meet 3 to 4 times a year, and may hold emergency meetings called by the chairperson. The Department of Public Instruction must provide meeting space, staff support, and supplies. Council members serve without pay but may receive specified travel and living allowances.
