§ 7A-47. Powers of regular judges holding courts by assignment or exchange.

A regular superior court judge assigned to a county court, or serving by exchange, has the same powers as the resident or regularly assigned judge, and the judge’s chambers jurisdiction lasts until the session ends or expires by law, whichever is later.
