§ 7A-21. Marshal; powers; salary.

The Court of Appeals may appoint a marshal, who serves at its pleasure and carries sheriff-like criminal and civil powers plus any extra powers needed to carry out appellate division orders. The marshal’s salary is set by the Administrative Officer, but the Court of Appeals must approve it.
