§ 30-2425. Formal testacy proceedings; nature; when commenced.

A formal testacy proceeding is a court process to determine whether a decedent left a valid will. It can be started by an interested person’s petition, and while it is pending the registrar cannot act on informal probate or informal appointment requests.
