§ 81-15,316. Battery stewardship organization; membership required; when; covered battery or battery containing product; sale, offer for sale, or distribute for sale; restrictions; fee, prohibited.

From Jan. 1, 2028, producers and retailers generally cannot sell or distribute covered batteries or battery-containing products unless stewardship and marking conditions are met; from Jan. 1, 2029, additional recycling-marking rules apply, and no covered actor may charge consumers a point-of-sale fee for plan costs.
