36-2-30. [Solicitation of damage claims; injunction.] The attorney general or the board of bar commissioners of the New Mexico state bar association or any person, firm, corporation or association against whom any claim for damage to property or damages for personal injuries or for death resulting therefrom, is or has been asserted, may file an action for an injunction in the district court against any person, firm, corporation or association who has solicited employment for himself or itself or another, or for whom employment has been solicited, to collect or prosecute such claim, and in any such action the court, upon finding that such employment was solicited in violation of this act [section], whether such solicitation was successful or unsuccessful, may enjoin and permanently restrain such person, firm, corporation or association, his or its agents, representatives and principals from soliciting any such claims against any person, firm, corporation or association subsequent to the date of the injunction.
