TCA § 49-6-407 — Uniform grading system
LEAs must use the state board’s uniform grading system for grades 9–12, and the state board must develop a K–8 grading system that LEAs may adopt. The state board may not change the grading system more than once every two years starting with the 2019–2020 school year.
