TCA § 65-6-207 — Enforcement
The transportation department must enforce this part. The commissioner or designee may approve lower-than-minimum vertical or side clearances in particular cases if application, notice, and any requested hearing requirements are met. Temporary construction or repair supports for underpasses or overpasses are excluded.
