Tax Code § 111.00457

Sec. 111.00457. INFORMATION RELATING TO OTHER PERMIT OR LICENSE REQUIREMENTS. (a) The comptroller shall include the following statement on each application for a permit or license issued by the comptroller: WARNING. You may be required to obtain an additional permit or license from the State of Texas or from a local governmental entity to conduct business. A listing of links relating to acquiring licenses, permits, and registrations from the State of Texas is available online at http://www.Texas.gov. You may also want to contact the municipality and county in which you will conduct business to determine any local governmental requirements. (b) The statement required by Subsection (a) must be placed in the applicant signature box or, if the application does not have an applicant signature box, on the last line above the applicant signature line, and in bold typeface that is at least as large as any other typeface appearing in the general instructions relating to the application. (c) The comptroller shall revise the statement required by Subsection (a) as necessary to reflect any change in the Internet address that provides the listing of links.
