Occupations Code § 454.002

Sec. 454.002. DEFINITIONS. In this chapter: (1) "Board" means the Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners. (2) "Coordinator of occupational therapy programs" is the person employed in that position under Section 452.101. (3) "Executive council" means the Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners. (4) "Occupational therapist" means a person licensed to practice occupational therapy. (5) "Occupational therapy aide" means a person: (A) who aids in the practice of occupational therapy; and (B) whose activities require on-the-job training and on-site supervision by an occupational therapist or an occupational therapy assistant. (6) "Occupational therapy assistant" means a person licensed by the board as an occupational therapy assistant who assists in the practice of occupational therapy under the general supervision of an occupational therapist.
