Occupations Code § 201.304

Sec. 201.304. EXAMINATION REQUIREMENTS. (a) To receive a license, an applicant for a license by examination must pass: (1) the required and optional parts of the examination given by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, as required by and under conditions established by board rule; and (2) an examination prepared by the board that tests the applicant's knowledge and understanding of the laws relating to the practice of chiropractic in this state. (b) The board shall periodically determine whether applicants who hold National Board of Chiropractic Examiners certificates have been adequately examined. If the board determines that those applicants have not been adequately examined, the board shall require those applicants to submit to an additional examination prepared by the board. (c) The board may give an examination during the applicant's last semester of college if the board receives evidence indicating the applicant has satisfactory grades. Immediately after the applicant graduates from chiropractic college, the applicant must forward to the board evidence of satisfactory completion of the applicant's course of study.
