Property Code § 52.006

A judgment lien generally lasts 10 years after the abstract is recorded and indexed, but it ends sooner if the judgment becomes dormant. State or state-agency judgments do not become dormant, and a properly filed abstract can keep the lien alive until the earlier of 20 years, satisfaction, or release.
