Special District Local Laws Code § 3828.052

Sec. 3828.052. ELIGIBILITY. To be qualified to serve as a director, a person must be at least 18 years of age and: (1) reside in the district; (2) own real property in the district; (3) own at least 10 percent of the outstanding interest of a corporation or general or limited partnership that owns real property in the district; or (4) be an agent, employee, officer, or director of a corporation, limited liability company, or partnership that owns real property in the district.
