Insurance Code § 541.152
A prevailing plaintiff may recover actual damages, court costs, reasonable attorney’s fees, injunctive relief, or other relief the court finds proper. If the defendant knowingly committed the act, the factfinder may award up to treble actual damages, except in cases against the Texas Windstorm Insurance Association.
