Occupations Code § 563.054
A veterinarian may administer or provide dangerous drugs to patients, delegate that work to qualified supervised persons, and itemize and receive compensation for it, but must comply with veterinary and drug laws and cannot run a retail drug pharmacy without following applicable laws.
