Special District Local Laws Code § 9206.005
If all of a district’s territory is annexed by the City of Gunter before the election confirming the district, the district cannot be dissolved and continues until dissolved under Section 43.074. Future annexation of additional territory is barred unless Gunter may voluntarily annex the same territory.
