Special District Local Laws Code § 1068.160
The district is barred from taking on debt payable from district revenue beyond current and immediately upcoming fiscal-year revenue, except as allowed by specified sections. The board may invest certain reserves only in funds or securities allowed by Chapter 2256, Government Code.
