Government Code § 487.103

Sec. 487.103. SELECTION COMMITTEE. (a) The selection committee shall advise the department on the progress of the program. (b) The selection committee is composed of 12 members appointed by the commissioner. (c) The commissioner shall consider geographical representation in making appointments to the selection committee. (d) Selection committee members serve for staggered three-year terms, with the terms of four members expiring August 31 of each year. A member is eligible for reappointment to consecutive terms. (e) A member of the selection committee is not entitled to reimbursement for expenses incurred in performing duties under this subchapter. Added by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1424, Sec. 1, eff.
